What happens in a typical session?

Each session starts with a verbal assessment of the patient's condition. Following this analysis, a combination of bodywork styles (massage, deep tissue, somatic release) are utilized and tailored to the patient's needs. An acupuncture protocol is then developed to reinforce and integrate the treatment. The bodywork in each session lends itself to a dynamic experience.

How does Acupuncture work?

Acupuncture allows the Qi (energy) and blood to flow harmoniously throughout the channels (pathways) of the body. Acupuncture increases strength, circulation and nourishment to areas of weakness and it releases muscle spasms which can cause pain.
